Daisy woke up this morning sick. She is sneezing and has a runny nose and a fever. Usually not a big deal, but it is when you are going through Chemo for Stage 3 cancer.

Please pray for immediate healing.

Matthew 4:34-25

Jesus was going throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness among the people.

The news about Him spread throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all who were ill, those suffering with various diseases and pains, demoniacs, epileptics, paralytics; and He healed them.

You get married in less than a month…three weeks. I try to convince myself it doesn’t hurt. That the pain I feel in my throat is just a tickle. I keep my mouth shut, put on my usual sense of humor and no one suspects a thing. I do not mention you, there are no more photos, no more shared books, clothing, no more inside jokes. Nothing.

Truth is, we were never meant to be forever. Truth is, I am so happy that is the case.

But I just wished you’d left me alone, steered clear of my direction. Because truth is, it hurts. It still hurts. You broke the fairytale and I’ve yet to be able to put it back together the way it was before you blew in like a late summer storm destroying everything in site including my fairytale. You shattered it and now I’m too afraid to step forward in case I shatter again.

Congratulations on your wedding. I always knew she was the one.

I feel like I’m about to break your heart. I don’t want to break your heart. I’m not the heartbreaking type. And never in a million years would I want to break your heart. This isn’t fair. I know what to do. I know what I am being told to do. Why can’t I do it? I know why….who says you’ll want to be friends after I tell you what needs to be said?
